Lamb number two!

Yesterday morning Chris went out to tend to the sheep and sleepily said "hello Sammy" to the little black lamb in the pen before he realized that Sammy was missing his white head and tail. It was a new lamb!

Here is the new little guy, another ram lamb, who the kids have named Pepper.

Mom and baby getting to know each other.

Sammy the Lamby is now 11 days old and has at least doubled in weight.

Oh my—what a sweetie! Are you sure you're not willing to bring a little boy with you all the way to NC? I sooooo want one of your babies!

I know people ship animals all the time, but I'm ambivalent about it. Rather find them locally or regionally I guess. But to have a JennyChrisScottyEliza ram, now that might be worth it!

I want one. They don't have Navajo-Churros in the UK. Maybe I can bring one back in a little cat carrier under my seat on the plane? No, I'll just have to get by with something more local when I final decide to stay right where I am long enough to have a sheep or two.
