On our second day there we visited a science museum in Durham. One thing I really liked about this museum was the lighting there. I played around using available light and got some good shots.

We call it a project because there are lots of things going on here. We are a family of four living semi-rurally in our owner-built off-grid straw bale home, attachment parenting, homeschooling, farming and homesteading with two other family members on 10 acres. Our goals are self-sufficiency and sustainability as we prepare for the future while living joyfully in the present.

Old friends in Raleigh
After the conference we dropped Chris at the airport in Charlotte and drove on to Raleigh where we stayed with my college friend Elysha, her husband Dan, and their little girl. It was great to see them again!
